We've been busy this month making several performance and maintainability improvements to Moobiz.

The nice thing about this work is that it affects all sites and businesses using Moobiz, so all our customers benefit.

Overall, everything still looks and works the same, just better :)

Technical info for anyone interested:

• enabled gzip compression
• upgraded from jquery Interface to UI
• switched to CSS sprites to reduce HTTP requests
• updates to ORM code to reduce volume of database queries
• tuned some database server cache settings
• reviewed and tweaked database indexes
