Tabbed Search

After using the search results page for a while, with ever-increasing amounts of data on our system, it became increasingly difficult to find the results you were looking for -- everything was in one long list of results, all grouped together (see below).

This is why we decided to have a rethink, and not before long we decided to go with the site-wide standard of utilising tabs and infinite scrolling. So now each of the tabs will show the specific results for your search, but if for example 400 emails are returned, we'll just show you the top 40. You can then scroll down and when you get close to the bottom, the next 40 will load, and so on. This meant we could also remove the Date Filter, for even more simplicity!

The final feature we thought would be nice is the "Top matches" along the top of the page. If you search for a number, this will show the associated project/proposal/order/etc. Or if you search for a person/company and we only find one, we'll show you this up here so you can get there quickly!
