Time off improvements

We'd had this one on the back burner for a little while now, and finally got round to getting it done.

Time off had always been added on a 1-day basis (also half days were allowed), which we found to be really annoying when trying to add someone's 2-week holiday, adding each day separately! (This was especially impractical when I decided to go traveling for 3 months.)

Adding time off (before)

We decided to use date ranges to choose time off start/end dates; but then we were faced with the problem of working out how many days would actually come out of that persons allowance (weekends, public holidays, special work days off, etc.)

So now we've finally got around this problem, and have decided on a small compromise. When someone adds their holiday time they just choose the start and end dates (and AM/PM if necessary). When the holiday manager approves the time off they then need to supply the actual number of work days to be taken off that person's allowance.

Adding time off (after)

So no more adding 14 individual holiday days when Jamie decides to swan off to Vegas for a couple of weeks. Simple choose the start and end dates, tell Moobiz how many work days that equates to and you're done!
